| 2/15/2005 | We have reviewed in detail the options available in RefShare. We have helped test and review and make recommendations back to RefWorks about what we see as strengths and weaknesses in the product. We will test the Arabic collection to see if it handles multi-person access, and we will make recomendations pertaining to the RefShare product. | ||
| 2/15/2005 | We will schedule one more meeting of our team to do final testing and final review of our designed product compared to RefShare. To this point we are very pleased with RefShare. We will compile a final list of desired enhancements to RefShare and post them to this project, and send them to the people are RefWorks. | ||
| 2/17/2005 | We did an access test of one RefShare set. No errors, many enhancement requests are generating. In spite, we feel that RefWorks and RefShare are worth getting. We are doing one more two hour test/enhancement review, then will consider this project closed, unless a compelling reason arrises to not proceed with RefShare. We intend to have an on-going enhancement list to send to RefWorks twice a year, or more. | ||
| 4/18/2005 | We have completed reviewing our design specifications of an in-house product against RefShare. We are pleased with the product. We recommended purchasing the license (done), and have submitted a list of 26 enhancement items to the development team at RefWorks. Lee Richards has been given the assignment of reviewing the progress of these 26 enhancements with RefWorks (every 3-6 months), giving feedback to Terry Dahlin, LIS managment, and the Bibliography team. Any new observations or concerns will be sent to Lee. These will be brought to members of the team for review, as needed. At this time the work of the team is completed. | ||
